How does stock management work for tickets?
Tixmondo manages stock automatically to prevent overselling.
Formula:
Available = Total Stock - Sold - Reserved in Carts
Details:
- Total Stock — Set when creating the e-ticket.
- Sold — Purchased and confirmed tickets.
- Reserved in Carts — Temporarily reserved; expire automatically if customer doesn't complete checkout.
Notes:
- Cart reservations are temporary with automatic expiry.
- Refunded tickets return to available stock.
- Each individual ticket is a separate record — no batch quantity.
- Monitor stock in real-time from the event's E-Tickets section.
