What is the custom URL and how should I choose it?

When you create a business, you choose a custom URL (short URL) that becomes part of your business page address on Tixmondo.

For example, if you choose my-cool-events, your public page will be at tixmondo.ro/my-cool-events.

Rules for the custom URL

• Only letters, numbers, hyphens (-) and underscores (_) are allowed
• No spaces or special characters
• Must be unique — if someone else already took it, you'll need to pick another
• Cannot be changed later — choose wisely!

Tips for a good URL

• Keep it short and memorable: jazz-club-vienna instead of the-amazing-jazz-club-of-vienna-2024
• Use your brand name or a recognizable abbreviation
• Avoid numbers unless they're part of your brand
