    How are occurrences shown on public pages and tours?

    When you create a recurring event with multiple occurrences, the platform handles their visibility as follows:

    On the event listing (browse/search):

    • Only the parent event appears in search results — customers will not see 30 separate entries for the same production
    • The listing shows the next upcoming date automatically
    • A badge indicates “Multiple dates” to signal that more performances are available

    On the event detail page:

    • A date selector lets customers browse all available dates
    • Selecting a date shows that occurrence’s specific availability, pricing, and cast
    • Past occurrences are grayed out or hidden

    In tours:

    • If the recurring event is part of a tour, each occurrence appears as a stop with its own date and venue
    • The tour page groups occurrences chronologically

    You can control which occurrences are visible by setting their status (Draft, Published, Cancelled) individually.
