When customers view your Floor Plan on the event page, each reservable table is rendered with small chair markers around it — a top-down view that mimics a real venue.
Chairs are drawn based on the table's Capacity. A table with no capacity set will not show any chairs, even if the side toggles are enabled.
Open Tools → Venue Designer, switch to the Floor Plan tab, and select a table. In the right-hand properties panel you'll see a Chairs around table section:
Typical case: a table with a couch or bench on one side. Without side control, the table would render with chairs on the couch side, which looks wrong. Uncheck that side and the layout matches reality.
The designer canvas shows chairs live while you edit, so what you see in the designer is what customers see on the live page. Don't forget to press Save — the button briefly flashes Saved! on success.
