What is the difference between nominal value and selling price?

This is a key concept for vouchers:

    • Nominal value (face value) — What the voucher is worth when redeemed. For example, a gift card worth 100 EUR.
    • Selling price — What the customer pays to buy the voucher. For example, you might sell a 100 EUR voucher for 80 EUR as a promotion.
    • Old price — An optional crossed-out price shown for marketing purposes (e.g., "was 90 EUR, now 80 EUR").

    Example:

    You create a voucher with:

    • Nominal value: 100 EUR
    • Selling price: 80 EUR
    • Old price: 90 EUR (shown strikethrough)

The customer sees: 90 EUR 80 EUR and receives a voucher worth 100 EUR.

All three values always use the same currency. If the currency is not RON, the system automatically shows the RON equivalent for reference.
