How do I use the Venue Designer to create a seating layout?
The Venue Designer is a visual tool for creating detailed venue layouts with seating arrangements.
Accessing:
Go to Tools → Venue Designer.
Creating a Layout:
- Add Sectors — Create sections (e.g., "Orchestra", "Balcony", "VIP").
- Add Rows — Place straight or curved/arc rows of seats within sectors.
- Add Elements — Stage, Stairs, Exits, Pillars, Walls.
- Customize — Drag, resize, rotate. Double-click a seat to select its entire row.
Assigning Products:
- Select an event from the Event dropdown in the Assign panel.
- Map sectors to ticket products.
- Override individual seats if needed.
Saving:
- Saved layouts can be reused across multiple events.
- Use "My Venues" to load previously saved layouts.
Shortcuts: Ctrl+Z undo, L lasso selection, Space pan.
