How do events with multiple occurrences work?
Some events — such as theater plays, opera, concerts, or festivals — run across multiple dates (occurrences). Here is how they work on Tixmondo:
- The event has a single page with all general information (description, venue, media)
- A date selector lets you pick the specific occurrence you want to attend
- Each occurrence has its own ticket stock and seat availability — sold-out on one date does not affect another
- Prices may vary between occurrences (e.g. premiere, matinee, gala)
- The cast or lineup may be different for each occurrence
When purchasing, select your date first, then choose your tickets. Your ticket and e-ticket will clearly show the specific date and time of your chosen occurrence.
