How does table scanning work at the venue?
When a guest arrives at the venue:
- The guest shows their reservation QR code (received via email or SMS).
- Your staff scans the QR code using the Tixmondo scanning app.
- The system changes the table status from RESERVED to OCCUPIED — confirming the guest has been seated.
The QR code contains the reservation's short code, which is a unique identifier. The scan result shows the guest name, table label, and zone.
