What does the customer see for a pre-sale locked price?

When a price has pre-sale enabled, the customer experience changes slightly:

    Before entering a code:

    • The price is displayed normally (amount + currency).
    • Instead of the quantity selector (+/- buttons), they see a lock icon with an "Enter code" button.
    • They cannot add this price to their cart without a valid code.

    Entering a code:

    1. Customer clicks "Enter code".
    2. An input field appears with an "Unlock" button.
    3. They type their code (case-insensitive) and click Unlock.
    4. If valid: the lock disappears, the quantity selector appears, and they can add to cart.
    5. If invalid: an error message appears ("Invalid access code", "Code limit reached", etc.).

    For Unique codes — registration:

If the price uses unique codes, logged-in customers see a "Don't have a code? Register for pre-sale" link. Clicking it generates their personal code instantly.

Other prices on the same product:

Only the pre-sale price is locked. Other prices on the same product (e.g., Regular price alongside an Early Bird pre-sale) remain fully accessible.
