What is the entertainment tax rate and how do I choose?
The entertainment tax (impozit pe spectacole) is a local tax paid to the city hall. The rate depends on the type of event:
- 2% — for theater, music concerts, opera, ballet, dance shows, cinema, sports events, circus
- 5% — for discos, clubs, video arcades, and other entertainment activities
You can set the rate in Settings → Contracts & Declarations before generating the ITL 017 tax declaration. The rate can be changed and the document regenerated if needed.
