What is the 'Max tickets per code' setting?

The Max tickets per code setting limits how many tickets (or vouchers) a single customer can purchase using one pre-sale code.

    How it works:

    • Default: 4 tickets per code.
    • Each time a customer buys tickets with their code, the count increases.
    • Once they reach the limit, the code shows "Code limit reached" and they cannot buy more.

    For Shared codes:

The limit applies per customer (tracked by user account or browser session). So if Max = 4, each person can buy up to 4 tickets with the shared code. Different people can all use the same code, each up to their own limit.

    For Unique codes:

The limit applies to that specific registration. One code = one user = up to Max tickets.

    Example:

You set up a VIP Early Bird price at 50 EUR with a shared code VIP2026 and Max = 2:

    • Customer A enters VIP2026 and buys 2 tickets → code exhausted for them.
    • Customer B enters VIP2026 and buys 1 ticket → can still buy 1 more.
    • Customer A tries again → sees "Code limit reached".
