How does QR code check-in work for member cards?
Every member card issued through Tixmondo includes a unique QR code that can be scanned at event entrances.
How it works
- A customer receives their digital member card with a QR code
- At the event, your staff opens the Tixmondo scanning app
- The scanner verifies membership status in real-time
- A green screen confirms the card is valid; a red screen indicates an issue
What the scanner shows
- Member's full name and card type
- Card validity dates
- Whether the card is active, expired or suspended
- Check-in history (with cooldown to prevent duplicate scans)
The scanning works for all your events — you don't need to set up anything per event. Just scan and go.
