How do I set up a shared pre-sale code on a price?
A shared code is one code that you create and distribute to your audience. Everyone uses the same code.
Step by step:
- Go to your event → Tickets or Vouchers.
- Open a product and go to Prices.
- Click Edit on the price you want to lock (or create a new price).
- Scroll down to the Pre-sale Access Code card.
- Toggle "Require access code for this price" ON.
- Select "Shared code".
- Enter your code (e.g.,
EARLYBIRD2026). Minimum 3 characters, case-insensitive. - Set Max tickets per code (default: 4) — this limits how many tickets each customer can buy with this code.
- Click Save.
How to distribute:
- Share the code via email newsletter, social media, or directly to sponsors/partners.
- Customers enter the code on the event page to unlock the price.
Important:
- The code is case-insensitive (EARLYBIRD = earlybird = EarlyBird).
- The max tickets limit is per customer (tracked by user account or browser session for guests).
- Guest users can use shared codes without logging in.
